YAANG AT THE ENGINE SHED, LINCOLN 19/02/2026

Yaang, Manchester’s exciting synth-punk trio, make their debut appearance in Lincoln on Thursday February 19th as the headline act in Part III of the Platform Sessions at The Engine Shed.

Recently described as, ‘fully carbonated and unnecessarily caffeinated,’ this innovative band wear their retro look with style and their chaotic energy is infectious in their shows. Prepare to dance randomly.

2025 was Yaang’s busiest year so far and it included playing to crowds of up to 600 as support for Ist Ist at venues such as Leeds Warehouse and the Birmingham O2. Fans in Brighton queued down the street to see them at the Mutations Festival. The grand finale was New Year’s Eve at YES in Manchester, bringing to an end a frantic year for Davey, Ollie and Ben.

They have marched on through 2026, already having played dates in London, Preston and Stoke Sugarmill. Yaang’s debut EP ‘No’ was released last March but sadly, the limited-edition cassettes and vinyl have all long since sold out, along with the merchandise. However, downloads can be found on Bandcamp. ‘Til Morning Light’ is the most distinctive track and one to catch on YouTube for new listeners chasing some fun. Yaang will be supported in Lincoln by local band Hot Squash and Manchester singer song-writer Yasmin Coe.
