BEST OF / THE STROKES

Recently, over on the Back to Mono Records Facebook Page, we took a quick poll of YOUR favourite track by garage rock revolutionaries The Strokes.
Since their debut album in 2001, they've been an indie music mainstay and arguably one of the biggest names in modern guitar music since the turn of the millennium, but with an expansive back catalogue and with Back to Mono Records presents: New York City Cops at Southside Lincoln fast approaching, we wanted to take a poll and see which were the most popular from their huge songbook:
THE WINNER IS: LAST NITE
In a far from surprising turn of events, 'Last Nite' won with 43% of the votes, leaving Reptilia & Hard to Explain in joint second place with 12% of the votes each. However in more notable fashion, "Other" received 10% of the votes and got the comments section shouting for tracks like 'Modern Age', 'New York City Cops' and 'Machu Picchu'.
If you love The Strokes as much as we do, and clearly as much as all of the people that voted in our poll then don't miss New York City Cops: A tribute to The Strokes at Southside Lincoln on the 14th of March 2026 from 7pm. Tickets are still available
